NCAA Basketball: 10 best players from state of Nevada of last decade

6. Orlando Robinson – Fresno State
Next up is another one of the more recent studs, as Robinson starred at Fresno State. He’s a 7’0 forward from Las Vegas who started all 90 games he played for the Bulldogs across the last three seasons. By the time his collegiate career was over, he had certainly become one of the most talented big men at the mid-major level, and perhaps even in all of the game.
Robinson put up very solid numbers across his career at Fresno State and helped turn around the Bulldogs program. After two meager seasons, Fresno State won 21 games during his junior year, a season in which he averaged 19.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Robinson scored a career-high 34 points against Wyoming, while also putting up a 17-point, 18-rebound performance against LIU as a senior.
Honored by the conference in his final two seasons, his junior year saw him named All-MWC First Team and on the All-Defense team. He led the conference in points and field goals and had impressive free throw numbers for a center. He ranks highly among conference in program records in a number of categories, such as rebounding, and is currently a member of the Miami Heat after going undrafted following the season.
