3. Kaleb Tarczewski – Arizona

We have another five-star recruit to cover, but this one had a much more consistent experience at the collegiate level. A 7’0 center originally from Claremont, Tarczewski traveled to other side of the country, playing four seasons under Sean Miller at Arizona, spending nearly his entire career as the starting big man for the Wildcats.

He had a consistent career, averaging just over 9 points per game in each of his final three seasons, with his rebounding numbers taking off in his senior campaign. Across his career, he played in twelve NCAA Tournament games, helping lead the Wildcats to a pair of Elite Eight’s and a Sweet Sixteen as the starting center. He averaged nearly a double-double as a senior, recording at least 10 rebounds in nine of his final twelve collegiate games.

For his senior season, Tarczewski was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team and All-Defense Team, but he was a solid cog in an impressive Arizona program for all four seasons. He had decent ratings on both sides of the ball and was among the conference leaders in rebounds at the end of his career. After college, he played briefly in the G-League before spending much of his time playing overseas, most recently signing on in Japan.
