10. Mason Archambault – South Dakota

A solid player back in high school, Archambault is a 6’0 guard from Rapid City that has burst onto the scene this past season. He began his collegiate career with two seasons at Gillette College, a junior college in Wyoming. His most recent two seasons of basketball have come at South Dakota in the Summit League.

During his junior season, Archambault served mostly as a bench piece, but got decent minutes, contributing to a Coyotes team that finished second place in the Summit League. His senior season was much more impressive, averaging 14.5 points and 3.4 rebounds a game. He scored in double figures in all but three of the games last season, including a career-high 27 points against St. Thomas in late January.

For his breakout season, in which he led the Summit League in offensive rating and free throw percentage, he was named Second Team All-Summit League. He was a major contributor on a team that won 19 games and really emerged as an offensive weapon for this Coyotes squad. After the season, the program made a coaching change and Archambault entered the transfer portal, but he has confirmed that he will return to the Coyotes for one final collegiate season.
