One of the best high school juniors in the country is Trentyn Flowers, a consensus five-star NCAA Basketball prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. He’s a 6’8 small forward but is known for his elite versatility and ability to play and guard multiple positions.
Originally from Huntington, West Virginia, Flowers now plays in North Carolina. But power conference programs from all over the country have been after him regardless, with dozens of offers overall.
But now the number of teams in consideration is down to 13.
It does seem like a lot but he’s still a junior, not a senior in high school. So Flowers is eligible to take five official visits this year and five more a year from now if he so chooses. Reportedly, the four set to get a visit soon is Georgia State, Oklahoma, Louisville, and Creighton.
Who knows if that’s the four that are in the lead but getting a visit from a five-star prospect can never hurt. It’s early in the process but each of them has something to offer Flowers. Here’s a closer look at the potential fit and the chances each of them has to truly be in the mix.

Flowers is someone that can replace Miller in the future, even if they land top-50 wing Kaden Cooper in the 2023 class.
