The calendar still reads January, but make no mistake: March is coming. The greatest postseason tournament in all of sports is much closer than it seems, as we tiptoe toward February. This is a season that has already seen unthinkable plays, wild upsets, crazy moments, and everything in between. Picking the 68 teams for the NCAA Tournament is no simple task, let alone playing your way into the bracket, regardless of the school.

Nearly half the bids go to the conference tournament champions, with the real difficult part coming down to those pesky at-large bids. These are thus different teams in different situations, but the goal is all the same. Only 68 teams get that magic ticket to the NCAA Tournament; here’s a group that had a good week towards that goal.
