The calendar recently turned over to February, meaning the best part of NCAA Basketball is less than a month away. Before we even think about the NCAA Tournament, there are still several weeks of conference play remaining and a lot is left to be decided. We’ve seen buzzer-beaters, thrilling performances, breakout seasons, troubling outings, and everything else in between over the course of nearly three full months of basketball action. Still, there’s a lot to come.

Nearly every conference race is still largely undecided, and a few wins or losses here or there could drastically change any of the sport’s high-profile leagues. That being said, it’s hard to compare play in some of these leagues. A team lighting up their competition in the A-10 or Conference USA would struggle against today’s Big 12.

Today, the focus is again on the sport’s best teams at the moment, meaning we’re putting together this week’s Top 25 rankings. It’s very hard to nail down the 25 teams let alone the order, but we’ve done our best to rank these teams after another thrilling week of basketball. Before we proceed, know that a number of teams just missed out on this week’s rankings, with programs like Auburn, Florida Atlantic, Maryland, Missouri, NC State, and Pittsburgh among those concerned but left out this week. Without further ado, let’s get right into the current state of the rankings.
