It is the second Sunday in February, which also happens to be Super Bowl Sunday. That means that this is also the point in the season when a lot of football fans will start to follow what is left of the NCAA Basketball season. There is a lot to get caught up on. This week’s Sunday Mailbag is going to attempt to help bring them up to speed a little bit as what initially started out as a slow week picked up in terms of huge news, towards the end of the week. A lot has happened since late Friday night in the College Basketball world.

I do not usually delve into the world of women’s Basketball but this week we are going to go there with the Sunday Mailbag for two topics that are both impressive and also not talked about nearly enough. Some very weird news came out of Las Cruces, New Mexico last night and I will try and make sense of it all. Finally, let’s go to California in the West Coast Conference where a team has already made history and is likely going to make some more noise in March.

Welcome to every fan who is just starting to get into college basketball this season. There is no time like the present to get into the sport and this year there are no perfect teams so the NCAA tournament is wide open this year. Thank you to everyone who has ever read this article, interacted with me on Twitter or asked a question for this article. It is much appreciated and without that this article would not be possible. Let’s get into the Mailbag for this week.
