It’s shocking that we’re just three weeks away from Selection Sunday and seeing the bracket for the NCAA Basketball Tournament. This season, defined by so many big shots, memorable moments, and outstanding performances, has almost fully elapsed, but it’s not quite over yet. The regular season still has a couple weeks left for most leagues and that’ll give teams a few more chances to prove they belong in that Big Dance.
Clearly, the most important part of the season is what happens in March Madness, but we’re not there quite yet. Nearly every conference race has yet to be decided, meaning these games in the coming week are as important as ever to a handful of programs. Some teams are jockeying for positioning in the NCAA Tournament, especially after the Selection Committee revealed the Top 16 seeds as they currently stand. Other teams are fighting for their postseason lives, especially if they fall short during their conference tournaments.
Throughout all that’s happened in recent weeks, we’ll be giving our latest update of the Top 25 teams in the nation. These rankings change on a regular basis, especially with some of the upsets and wild performances we’ve seen this season. It’s hard to narrow down this list to just those 25 teams, but we’ve done our best to identify those programs.
