In two short weeks, there will be conference tournaments which means the first bids to the NCAA tournament will be handed out. In the meantime, there are still some big things that have happened in the NCAA basketball world over the last week. Those will need to be discussed this week in the Sunday Mailbag. I will not discuss anything related to conference tournaments as I am working on a big project on those currently.

Last week I stepped out of my comfort zone and talked about the women’s game and mainly Caitlin Clark and how good she has been. It was brought to my attention that I did miss a player in the women’s game who may be having the best individual season ever. The NCAA tournament committee released their top 16 seeds this morning, and one team, in particular, was extremely underseeded already. Finally, the last topic of conversation takes us to the Big 12 and how many tournament bids the league can expect.

This will be the last Sunday Mailbag of the year as after this week I am going to focus on championship week and get ready for the NCAA tournament. Thank you always for reading this article and providing me with ideas for it. WIthout you this article would not be possible. It is the most fun I have writing an article every week. The questions for this week and my answers to them are below. The first question is going to take us to the fabulous city of Philadelphia, PA and it is going to allow us to take a look at a lady who is on pace for the best individual season of all time.
