Kentucky Wildcats

Not too long ago, the Wildcats were right on the cutline of the bubble, not having much of a resume in terms of quality victories. That has changed in the past four games alone, all of which are viewed as Quad 1 victories for now. The first two were against Mississippi State and Tennessee, with two more capable opponents up next in Florida and Auburn.

On the road against the Gators is tough on paper but they were without star forward Colin Castleton, who is out with a broken hand. Kentucky was able to take advantage, pulling out the 82-74 road win. Oscar Tshiebwe had 25 points on a nearly perfect 12/13 shooting from the field, while Chris Livingston had 15 rebounds total.

The game against Auburn at home proved to be no trouble, with the Wildcats turning the game into an 86-54 blowout win. Another 22 points and 17 rebounds from Tshiebwe led the way, while Cason Wallace and Antonio Reeves combined for 40 points on the perimeter.

After being on the bubble not too long ago, Kentucky is now firmly in the field of 68 and can improve its ceiling even more. They have a home game against Vanderbilt, followed by another Quad 1 road opportunity versus Arkansas to end the regular season.
