The last week of the ACC Basketball season had plenty of drama to still be dealt with, including who would win the regular-season title, as well as the single and double-byes for the upcoming conference tournament. From a Bracketology standpoint, there are three definite NCAA Tournament teams, along with four on the bubble, both in and out of the projected field.

With all the games completed, here’s the latest look at the ACC, setting up where each team stands ahead of the conference tournament.

15. Louisville Cardinals – 4-27 (2-18)

The long, nightmarish season (at least the regular season) is over for Louisville. Two more losses ended up giving them the most total in program history. To some degree, the four wins they got came as a surprise, considering how badly the first 10 games of the season went for them.

In the home finale, Louisville hosted Virginia Tech. The Cardinals trailed early and often in this one, ultimately falling 71-54. El Ellis and Michael James were the lone scorers in the game, each scoring 14 points on six made field goal attempts. It was the latest example of what happens when they can’t get any production from the frontcourt, which has happened a lot this season.

The next game on the weekend went as expected, with the Cardinals losing 76-60 to Virginia. Scoring 60 points itself came as a surprise but the game truly was never in doubt. James had 24 points on 7/10 shooting, while El Ellis had another 14 points.

Louisville now takes on Boston College, a team they faced once on the road, a 75-65 defeat. The Eagles have looked good ever since Quentin Post came back but they don’t have a backcourt that’s going to overpower you. Could the Cardinals have one more good performance in them?
