We are as close as possible to another NCAA Tournament. It’s incredible to think that we were robbed of this event by the national pandemic three years ago, but now we’re back yet again for another three weeks of exciting NCAA basketball action. The next few weeks will be filled with unforgettable performances, memorable moments, and quite possibly a few buzzer-beaters and Cinderella stories that some will never forget.

As close as we are to the NCAA Tournament’s genesis, we still aren’t quite sure what the field of 68 will look like when the bracket is availed. Selection Sunday is always a nervous time for those teams on the bubble and an engaging experience for those smaller schools that won their conference tournaments and get to see their schools placed and proclaimed on national television. We’re not exactly sure how exactly the bracket will look when it’s unveiled, though a sea of bracketologists will certainly claim to have it all figured out.

Today, Selection Sunday will show us exactly how the field plays out, but there are some questions we have even before that bracket is revealed. We’ll be looking at ten storylines to watch for the bracket reveal because there’s a lot more in the flux than it may seem to the naked eye. Which teams will end up in which location and who gets the favorable matchups? Which teams get the unfortunate matchups against the hot mid-major teams trying to be the next Cinderella teams? Let’s find out.
