How many Big 12 Basketball teams made the 2023 NCAA Tournament?

The Big 12 was arguably the best conference in college basketball this year. As a result, the league has plenty of representation in the 2023 NCAA Tournament in the men’s bracket.

With Selection Sunday officially over, how many Big 12 teams have made it to the men’s basketball 2023 NCAA Tournament?

Seven Big 12 teams made the NCAA Tournament this year. Oklahoma State was the top team in the conference to miss the Big Dance.

There are no Big 12 teams in the First Four, meaning the league’s first NCAA Tournament action will take place on Thursday. Game times and television networks will be announced shortly.

  • Kansas (At-Large Bid) – No. 1 seed in West Region. First game against No. 16 seed Howard Bison, Thursday, March 16 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa
  • Texas (Automatic Bid) – No. 2 seed in Midwest Region. First Game against No. 15 Colgate Raiders, Thursday, March 16 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa
  • Baylor Bears (At-Large Bid) – No. 3 seed in South Region. First game against No. 14 seed UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, Friday, March 17 at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado
  • Kansas State Wildcats (At-Large Bid) – No. 3 seed in East Region. First game against No. 14 seed Montana State Bobcats, Friday, March 17 at Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina
  • Iowa State Cyclones (At-Large Bid) – No. 6 seed in Midwest Region. First game against No. 11 seed Mississippi State Bulldogs/Pittsburgh Panthers, Friday, March 17 at Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina
  • TCU Horned Frogs (At-Large Bid) – No. 6 seed in West Region. First game against No. 11 seed Nevada Wolf Pack/Arizona State Sun Devils, Friday, March 17 at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado
