After a long season and a few weeks of conference tournaments that felt even longer, the big day is here. The March Madness selection show is when things truly get interesting and one school’s dream of becoming national champions begins.

Last year that school was Kansas, but the Jayhawks weren’t the only ones who danced their way through March. Saint Peter’s became a sensation thanks to a Cinderella run to the Elite Eight before losing to eventual runners-up North Carolina.

Who will that Cinderella team be this season, and will the Jayhawks successfully defend their title?

While the NCAA Tournament is finally here, let’s go over when the selection show will air so that we can get a look at the bracket before the madness begins.

Selection Sunday: What time is March Madness selection show?

It might seem like an obvious question since the name of the whole event gives away part of the answer. Sure, the selection show is on Sunday but where can it be found?

There are two selection shows today, one for the Men’s tournament and one for the Women’s tournament. Typically the two selection shows have been split up to air on different days, but they’ll instead be airing back-to-back on different channels.

The March Madness selection show for the men’s bracket will air on CBS immediately after the conclusion of all the conference tournaments that are playing championship games today. The entire 68-team bracket will be revealed, with the play-in games making up four extra teams than what the final 64-team bracket will be once its officially set in place on Wednesday.

Here’s how and where to watch:

  • Date: March 12, 2023
  • Start Time: 6 pm ET
  • TV Channel: CBS
  • Live Stream: Fubo.tv | Paramount+

The March Madness selection show for the women’s bracket will air a few hours later on ESPN, where the entire field will be revealed live.
