March Madness is back! With the 68 teams participating in the 2023 NCAA Tournament set, it’s officially time for the most captivating sports event in the nation. There’s always reason to tune in, but this year in particular feels like it could be special. Although Alabama earned the No. 1 overall seed, it feels like any team could take home the National Title and plenty of quality mid-majors create a great environment for upsets.

Things get started on Tuesday, March 14 with the first two games of the “First Four.” Ohio Valley Conference champion Southeast Missouri State will square off with the Southland Conference’s Texas A&M – Corpus Christi at 5:40 PM CST. Pittsburgh versus Mississippi State will wrap up the first night of action right after, scheduled for 8:10 PM CST.

Wednesday night tips off with the Northeast Conference auto-bid Farleigh Dickinson against Southwestern Athletic Conference champion Texas Southern, with the tip time also at 5:40 PM CST. The “First Four” concludes with a game between a pair of at-large entrants, Arizona State and Nevada.

Thursday, March 16 is when the fun gets kicked into high gear, with 16 games spanning 12 hours. West Virginia – Maryland tips things off at 11:15 AM CST in Birmingham, Alabama, with UNC Asheville – UCLA in Sacramento, California, as the final game of the night at 9:05 PM.

The 32 teams advancing to the second round will be determined by Friday night after another furious day of hoops. USC – Michigan State is the first matchup of the day at 11:15 AM CST, and TCU will face off with the Arizona State – Nevada victor at 9:05 PM.

The second round will take place from Saturday morning through Sunday night, and will determine the 16 teams moving on the second weekend. After eight more games Thursday, March 24 and Friday, March 25, the Elite Eight will be decided. Regional winners will head to Houston, Texas for the Final Four. April 3 will be the date a new national champion is crowned at NRG Stadium in Houston. Keep reading for a full, detailed schedule and more information regarding the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
