Another No. 1 seed has gone down in the 2023 NCAA Tournament, and while Kansas was in the locker room licking their wounds from the upset loss, Arkansas found a rather inventive way to celebrate their win.

When you take down a number one seed over the course of March Madness, it’s always something special, and beyond destroying brackets it also causes some serious shenanigans by the winning team.

During round one action, we saw No. 1 seed Purdue get taken down by No. 16 seed Fairleigh Dickinson, only the second time in tournament history that has happened. In response, FDU and their fans all over the nation had quite the party.

Now in round two, we have No. 1 seed Kansas, and a favorite to win the whole shebang by some (not mentioning any names or looking in the mirror or anything) being toppled by the No. 8 seed Arkansas Razorbacks.

So what do Razorbacks do when they have pulled off the near-impossible task of beating one of the top four teams in the tournament?

Well, they play Fruit Ninja, only they just use the fruit provided on the hospitality table and make a locker room fruit salad out of it.

Think they’re a little bit excited? Well, they should be. A trip to the Sweet 16 and a matchup against the winner of the UConn-Saint Mary’s game is their prize for beating Kansas, and for not hitting any of the bombs with their fruit blades.

This is why everyone loves March Madness.
