The Wildcats have advanced past the first round of the NCAA Tournament, so what’s next on the 2023 Kentucky March Madness schedule?

No. 6 seed Kentucky had a strong first-round game, eliminating the Providence Friars, 61-53. That will send them on to their next game in the Round of 32.

So what’s next for the Wildcats in their quest for a ninth NCAA Tournament championship? They’ll take a team from the Big 12 that a lot of people have marked as a sleeper to possibly win the whole tournament.

2023 Kentucky March Madness schedule: Who will the Wildcats play in Round 2?

The Wildcats will move on to Round 2 and take on the Kansas State Wildcats, who reached the second round by way of a convincing 77-65 win over Montana State on Friday night.

Kansas State is a No. 3 seed in the tournament and has not advanced to the Sweet 16 since 2018. They have reached the Final Four in four seasons, winning the entire tournament in 1951. This could be a tough matchup for Kentucky.
