Arkansas vs UConn March Madness Ticket Prices: How much does it cost to attend the Sweet 16?
Fancy a weekend in Las Vegas, Arkansas Razorbacks and Connecticut Huskies fans? Might as well make a trip out of the teams’ Sweet 16 matchup on Thursday night at T-Mobile Arena. Plus, you’ll be able to catch No. 2 UCLA vs No. 3 Gonzaga!
The only downside? The Sweet 16 tickets for this slate are the second-most expensive of the weekend, only behind Madison Square Garden hosting No. 7 Michigan State vs No. 3 Kansas State and No. 9 FAU vs No. 5 Tennessee.
But the slate in Vegas is far more worthwhile given how even these matchups are featuring some of the most storied programs in the country. Arkansas is vying for its third straight Elite 8 appearance while UConn has four National Titles since 1999. The Razorbacks are still looking for their first championship since winning in ’94 and then losing in the final game the following year to UCLA.
Maybe if you hit it big on roulette or at the blackjack tables, you can double down on Elite Eight tickets if your team advances. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
Arkansas vs UConn March Madness Ticket Prices
Per SeatGeek, the cheapest ticket for Thursday’s slate is $175 (well, $237 with fees, and it’s unfortunately an upper deck seat). You can pick your spots, though. There are a few around $400 with fees right behind the basket. Not bad based on how the market is trending.
It’s a similar deal on StubHub, with the cheapest at $241 and the top-dollar tix going for over $2,000. You’ll need to pull an all-nighter in the poker room for that price range, though.
Even though the least expensive seats represent a high floor, the only team outside the top-25 in this group is Arkansas. UConn checks in at No. 10, Gonzaga is right in front at No. 9, and UCLA is No. 7. The Razorbacks actually helped ticket prices by pulling out their victory over the Jayhawks because, man, adding the No. 4 team in the country into the mix would’ve been a dream for the resellers.
The true gamblers can hang around and check prices closer to game time, in which event they’ll probably drop. But for those traveling out there, you’re looking at ~$500 for a pair if you want to lock it in and not stress.
