The Alabama Crimson Tide was the No. 1 overall seed in the 2023 NCAA Tournament, but the mighty Mountain West San Diego State Aztecs were not intimidated.

There was no Nick Saban, no marching band, and no Heisman Trophy highlights, but there was an Alabama Crimson Tide team ranked No. 1 and the Twitter masses gleefully celebrated their elimination from the NCAA Tournament.

When you’re Alabama and there’s a “No. 1” in front of your name, the hate will flow like the dark side of the force in the Twitterverse.
