East Carolina Pirates

There are a couple of local programs that Shedrick could go close to home to, with the Pirates being one of them. They had a solid first year under head coach Michael Schwartz, finishing 16-17 overall and assuming the transfer portal doesn’t deplete them, could return almost everyone.

What East Carolina doesn’t have much of is size and frontcourt depth, with 7’0 center Ludgy Debaut leaving after this year. In a new-look AAC that should be more competitive overall, Shedrick could come in and help this team make a real run a year from now and be the missing piece to turning them into contenders.

Missouri Tigers

The Tigers had a fantastic year under Dennis Gates, usuing a ton of smalll-ball lineups that worked offensively and held up just enough on defense. Big man Mohamed Diarra was the lone player taller than 6’8 on the roster and in the SEC, that poses some problems.

Missouri has already landed Colorado State transfer, John Tonje this week to keep the scoring production going for next year. They don’t need a quality offensive threat at the five-spot and the impact Shedrick would make defensively would arguably give them a better ceiling and make a run in the next NCAA Tournament.
