Iowa State Cyclones

Offense is a need for the Cyclones, who will be losing its two leading scorers, Jaren Holmes, and Gabe Kalscheur. Even though freshman Tamin Lipsey will be back and Temple transfer Jeremiah Williams will recover from his season-long injury, there’s going to be a big need for an offensive guard that can score at the Big 12 level.

Bamba is a player that can create his own offense, which he had to do a lot at Washington State. He’d be a fit at the three-spot for Iowa State and allow five-star incoming freshman, Omaha Biliew. Transfers have had great success at this program as of late and the former Cougar would have a good shot at finally making the NCAA Tournament.

NC State Wolfpack

The Wolfpack are set to lose two of its top guards this offseason in Jarkel Joiner and Terquavion Smith (assuming he enters the NBA Draft), who led them in scoring. The fate of 4th-year senior guard Casey Morsell is also in the air if we want to stay for another season.

There’s a chance that the native local native and Arizona State transfer, DJ Horne. If that doesn’t work out, Bamba would be a nice backup plan. He’s a better pure scorer and can play the 2/3 spots on offense for NC State.
