14. Enoch Cheeks – Robert Morris to Dayton

2022-23 stats: 15.4 ppg and 3.5 apg

Cheeks had a breakout season for the Colonials in the Horizon League, becoming the starting point guard. He was in double figures in 26 of 31 games, including 24 points against Purdue-Fort Wayne. Cheeks was a key defender on the perimeter as well and shot 36% from three-point range.

Dayton’s backcourt was hurt all season, including Malachi Smith, Koby Brea, and Kobe Elvis. In nothing else, having more depth on the perimeter is good for them. And with RJ Blakney in the transfer portal, the Flyers can use more three-guard lineups and Cheeks is capable of playing all three spots on the perimeter.

13. Paxson Wojcik – Brown to North Carolina

2022-23 stats: 14.9 ppg and 7.2 rpg

After two years at both Loyola-Chicago and Brown, Wojcik had his breakout season as a senior. He showcased an all-around game, including over three assists a game and 38% three-point shooting. The 6’4 guard had five games of 20+ points scoring, all in the last month of the season. He’s also a quality rebounder for someone of his size at 6’4 and 190 pounds.

The Tar Heels lost a ton of bench players to the transfer portal and also lost starting two-guard, Caleb Love. It’s not clear how big a role Wojcik will have next season but if he can add some shooting and production off the bench, that’ll be bigger than what UNC has had in the past two years.
