The NCAA Basketball transfer portal has been around for a few years, with over 4,000 players entered. There’s been a lot of big names both at the mid-major and power conference levels. There also have been a few high-profile guys that have shaken up the sport. But there might not have been a bigger name that has entered the portal than Hunter Dickinson.

A former top-30 prospect out of high school. Dickinson is a 7’1 true center with a quality offensive game. He was an impact starter as a freshman, averaging 14.1 ppg and 7.4 rpg. He made the Sweet 16 in his first two seasons and had the Michigan Wolverines on the map as a national contender.

This past season was rough for Michigan, underachieving all year and ultimately missing out on the NCAA Tournament. Dickinson did his part on offense, leading the team with 18.5 ppg and 9.0 rpg. He had numerous big individual performances, including 31 points and 16 rebounds against Illinois in overtime and 32 points and 10 rebounds against Maryland.

Not many players that have the stats that Dickinson has enters the transfer portal, they simply go pro. But now, the junior big man becomes one of the biggest free agents in recent memory. Expect many teams to get in the mix for the former Wolverine.

But who would be the best fits? Here’s a look at 10 realistic options for Dickinson in terms of playing time, ability to win, and potential to maximize value. And as expected. look for the big names to appear.
