Maryland Terrapins

This may be the most controversial team among the 10 listed. Mainly because based on the way he plays against them in the past, Dickinson seems to hate the Maryland Terrapins. It has to do with the fact that they overlooked him in high school on the recruiting trail and in matchups even since, has taken it personally.

However, the man that did that (Mark Turgeon) isn’t with the program anymore and the current head coach (Kevin Willard), has made a concerted effort to get back to recruiting in the DMV area. Maybe he can recruit the top available free agent from that area, now that Villanova guard Justin Moore has indicated that he won’t be leaving this offseason.

If Dickinson was willing to play for Maryland, it could work from a roster standpoint. Starting forward Donta Scott is a 4-year senior and could move on. If that happens, starting big man Julian Reese could slide to the four-spot and have the former Wolverine play at the five defensively and the four offensively.

Reese doesn’t stretch the floor but Dickinson can, coming off a season of averaging 42% from three-point range. And with veteran guard Jahmir Young set to come back, Maryland would also have its lead guard to run the offense.
