Texas Tech Red Raiders

The Red Raiders have a new head coach in Grant McCasland, who just led North Texas to an NIT title. They run the slowest offense in NCAA Basketball but are incredibly efficient and should be able to compete in the Big 12. Like Seton Hall, Texas Tech would be an easy transition for Nkamhoua and he should have a large role in the rebuilt offense.

The team did land a forward transfer a few months ago in KyeRon Lindsay but who knows if he’ll remain on after the coaching change. Kevin Obanor is moving on and Fardaws Aimaq and Robert Jennings have already hit the transfer portal. So there’s plenty of playing time available for Nkamhoua here and he’d be able to play both the 4 and 5-spots.

UCLA Bruins

After making the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament, UCLA is going to lose two key forwards on the roster. Jaylen Clark was the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year while leading scorer and Pac-12 Player of the Year Jaime Jaquez was the starting power forward. The team does have top-100 incoming freshman Devin Williams joining but the 6’10 forward could play both the four and five-spots.

Next. 10 teams that should target Hunter Dickinson. dark

Mick Cronin is an ideal coaching fit for Nkamhoua, as he’s one of the best defensive coaches in NCAA Basketball. And now, there’s plenty of playing time available at the key position for the Tennessee transfer to consider. And being in Los Angeles is a great way to get on the national stage and play for a winning program as well.
