Purdue Boilermakers

The Boilermakers are a team that has national title aspirations, assuming that National Player of the Year Zach Edey opts to return for another year. Guards Fletcher Loyer and Braden Smith will each have another year under their belts and be more consistent with their offense. They could use a talent boost elsewhere, particularly on the wing.

Ingram would be an upgrade over Ethan Morton at the three-spot and could take over for one of the guards since he’s a ball-handler as well. Purdue needs more experience and another double-digit scorer on offense and the former Cardinal would be a nice fit in the Big Ten and get to go from a non-postseason team to one that could make a deep run a year from now.

TCU Horned Frogs

Another option from the state of Texas is the Horned Frogs, who are losing star guard Mike Miles. They also could not have starting guard Damion Baugh, though they do bring in Delaware transfer, Jameer Nelson Jr. This team also is without Chuck O’Bannon, who started for 31 games at the wing position.

TCU could have Micah Peavy go from the bench to the starting lineup but if Emanuel Miller goes pro, they may need Peavy to slide to the four-spot. That would open things up for Ingram to slide into the starting lineup. And with he being a power conference player, the team can feel confident that Ingram can make the transition without issue.
