4. Florida Gators

The Gators have landed one transfer so far this offseason in EJ Jarvis, a forward from Yale. They have just as many needs in the backcourt, as losing lead guard Kyle Lofton, along with both Trey Bonham and Kowacie Reeves to the transfer portal. The team does have Riley Kugel coming back and needs a veteran guard to play with.

As of now, Mark would be the lead guard of Florida’s roster and would be an upgrade over last season’s group of mid-major players. The question is would they be good enough to win at the SEC level? Mark could go from a 30-win NCAA Tournament team to one that misses the postseason altogether if they don’t add more pieces.

3. Arkansas Razorbacks

As expected, Arkansas is heavily in the transfer portal, in the mix for just about everyone. The question is which of the players are they serious with? They recently landed Washington transfer Keyon Menifield and could use at least one more from the portal.

They have top-30 freshman point guard Layden Blocker coming in, as well as Davonte Davis, if he comes back from the NBA Draft process. With Ricky Council gone, there’s room for Mark to come in and have a sizeable impact. Of course, that can be said for other players also considering the Razorbacks.
