Louisville Cardinals

One of the lead recruiters in bringing Mgbako to Duke in the first place was Nolan Smith, who at that time was on the staff. He since went to Louisville, coming off a dismal 4-27 season. The staff has done a solid job so far, landing a pair of five-star commits in wing Trentyn Flowers and center Dennis Evans, as well as former five-star prospect and Illinois guard, Skyy Clark.

The roster has already improved but there is still work that needs to be done, including at the power forward position. Brandon Huntley-Hatfield and JJ Traynor aren’t going to be ideal fits at the four so adding Mgbako would be a nice late addition and instantly one of the best players on the roster.

Miami Hurricanes

Even after making the Final Four, Miami could actually return four of its five starters this past season. All eyes will be on what ACC Player of the Year Isaiah Wong does but regardless, the team will need to replace All-ACC forward Jordan Miller, who had a star role this season.

While a frontcourt of Mgbako and Norchad Omier would be a bit small. That didn’t matter with Miller this past season. It would be a huge move for the Hurricanes and make them one of the best offenses in NCAA Basketball, while also making a statement against Duke.
