The national championship was won just a week ago by the UConn Huskies, beating the San Diego State Aztecs. So now is the offseason, where all teams are looking to improve to have a shot at the NCAA Basketball title for the 2023-24 season.

Obviously, it’s way too early to know which teams are going to be true contenders for next season. However, it’s never too early to place a “futures bet” on teams you have the most faith in when it comes to winning it all.

Using FanDuel Sportsbook as a guide, here are the 10 best bets to make when it comes to winning the 2024 national title.

10. USC Trojans – +3400

The Trojans will be without Drew Peterson and also lost Pac-12 6th Man of the Year Reese Dixon-Waters to the transfer portal. But they have No. 1 class of 2023 commit Isaiah Collier coming in to replace them, along with a pair of four-star freshmen, Arrinten Page and Silas Demary Jr.

The team also could be landing a commitment from Bronny James, son of NBA superstar LeBron James. If the top-40 prospect commits to USC, the backcourt trio of him, Collier, and returning leading scorer, Boogie Ellis, would be one of the best in NCAA Basketball.

Assuming that former five-star prospects, Kijani Wright and Vincent Iwuchukwu, take leaps as sophomores, this team will have one of the best lineups next season. And if Collier is as good as advertised, the ceiling for this team will be good enough to take a risk with.
