8. Miami Hurricanes – +3000

Miami currently has the 10th-best odds to win it all and that’s without knowing the status of one of the best players in NCAA Basketball. Isaiah Wong led the team with 16.2 ppg and 3.2 apg this past season to not only win ACC Player of the Year but also lead them to its first-ever Final Four and national title game appearance.

He has the option to return for a 5th year and hasn’t announced his plans yet. Wong isn’t a projected NBA Draft pick but others in similar positions have simply opted to go pro. If he’s back, he and Nijel Pack will instantly be one of the best backcourts for the 2023-24 season. And joining them is Wooga Poplar, who was a good third starter next to them on the wing thanks to his three-point shooting.

Big man Norchad Omier will be back as well after averaging a double-double last season. The former Arkansas State transfer showed that you can be undersized as a big man but still succeed in the power conference level. The loss to UConn in the Final Four did show a lack of frontcourt but expect them to fix that in the portal.

Replacing Jordan Miller at the four-spot will be the main challenge but considering the NIL advantage they have, it shouldn’t be difficult. If things go right this offseason, Miami will be a trendy pick to make another deep run and likely have better than the No. 10 odds to win it all.
