4. Duke Blue Devils – +1100

Right now, the Blue Devils are tied with UConn for the best odds to win it all. And somehow, it feels like it could be a bargain at this rate. The offseason has gone as well as the program could ask for regarding the many NBA Draft decisions. They did lose both Dariq Whitehead and Dereck Lively, along with five-star incoming freshman forward, Mackenzie Mgbako.

The good news is that they brought back three former five-star players for another year. Mark Mitchell is a talented and versatile two-way forward, while Tyrese Proctor is a lead guard that many have pegged for an All-American breakout campaign next season. And they just got back Kyle Filipowski, making it the rare occasion that Duke has back the leading scorer and rebounder for the following season.

Even without Mgbako, Duke still has the No. 2 incoming recruiting class, led by 4 five-star prospects. Forwards TJ Power and Sean Stewart may not have the ceiling as Mgbako but they’ll be part of the rotation and contribute.

This doesn’t even include who the Blue Devils are set to add at the center position. They’re in the top-5 for Virginia transfer Kadin Shedrick and have been linked to DaRon Holmes of Dayton if he were to ever hit the transfer portal. Depending on who they add there, the Blue Devils may end up being the No. 1 preseason team for all of next season.
