NCAA Basketball: Top 60 available players in 2023 transfer portal
20. SR Chris Ledlum – Harvard Crimson
2022-23 season stats: 18.8 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 1.5 apg
In his first full season, the 6’6 forward was first in rebounding and second in all of the Ivy League in scoring. Ledlum had eight double-doubles and several big scoring outings, including a career-high 35 points, 13 rebounds, and six steals in a win over Cornell. Despite not being a great shooter from deep, the veteran big man still finds ways to create his offense inside the arc at a proficient rate.
19. SO Primo Spears – Georgetown Hoyas
2022-23 season stats: 16.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 5.3 apg
Spears is one of the best mid-range scorers in all of NCAA Basketball and is capable of going off in any game. He had 11 games with at least 20 points this past season, including a career-high 37 points and 11 assists against Xavier. Spears’ production and shot-making can be inconsistent but the former Duquesne guard has the ability to be the lead guard of an offense.
18. SR El Ellis – Louisville Cardinals
2022-23 season stats: 17.7 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 4.4 apg
Louisville was awful as a team and most of the time, they only had Ellis as a competent scorer. He carried them most of the time, including five games of at least 25 points. One of them was a 30-point and 10-assist game against Western Kentucky, one of the team’s lone wins of the season. Ellis was an ironman of sorts too, playing 35+ minutes for 23 of his 32 games.
17. JR Moussa Cisse – Oklahoma State Cowboys
2022-23 season stats: 6.8 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 1.9 bpg
Cisse is a former Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and five-star prospect out of high school that has turned into a quality interior defender. He had five double-doubles in the non-conference portion of the schedule, including 14 points and 14 rebounds against UCF.
