NCAA Basketball: Top 60 available players in 2023 transfer portal
55. SR Devan Cambridge – Arizona State Sun Devils
2022-23 season stats: 9.8 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 0.8 apg
The 6’5 guard posted career-high numbers after transferring over to ASU and playing next to his brother Desmond. Devan Cambridge had five games with at least 15 points, including 18 against Washington. He also was an above-average rebounder as well, with five games with at least 10+ boards.
54. SR Cormac Ryan – Notre Dame Fighting Irish
2022-23 season stats: 12.3 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.5 apg
The grad transfer senior has his best year yet as the combo guard for the Irish. Ryan was best known for his shooting ability with a career 35% from deep, along with over 80% from three free throw line. He had three games with at least 20 points, including 23 on 6/7 shooting in the upset win over Michigan State.
53. JR Dawson Baker – UC Irvine Anteaters
2022-23 season stats: 15.3 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 1.2 apg
The 6’3 guard has been a double-digit scorer for each of the last three seasons, all while shooting 37% from deep this past season. Baker, who made the All-Big West team, was in double figures in 32 of 35 games. He had 33 points against UC-San Diego, along with 23 versus Long Beach State.
52. FR Jaden Bradley – Alabama Crimson Tide
2022-23 season stats: 6.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 3.1 apg
Another former five-star prospect, Bradley was stuck in a backcourt logjam that included other ball-handlers. When he had minutes to showcase his skills, the guard was good. Bradley went for 18 points against Gonzaga, along with three games of seven assists. With a larger role, the All-SEC freshman should be a breakout candidate.
51. SR Charles Pride – Bryant Bulldogs
2022-23 season stats: 14.6 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 2.4 apg
Not many NCAA Basketball players in the transfer portal can claim a 40-point game like Pride can when he was a junior. Even though his scoring dipped a little this past season, the 6’4 guard still had six games of at least 20 points, including 28 against Albany, with 24 of them coming from beyond the arc.
