Wake Forest Demon Deacons – Backup center

The Deacons have landed underclassmen guard Kevin Miller from Central Michigan to be a potential replacement for leading scorer, Tyree Appleby. The team did lose him but does bring back a trio of 12 ppg scorers in Andrew Carr, Damari Monsanto, and Cameron Hildreth on the wings.

Wake Forest also brings back Matthew Marsh, a 7’1 center that averaged 6.1 ppg and 4.2 rpg as a sophomore and started half of the team’s games. But otherwise, they went small at the center position, which caused some problems defensively. Another interior option that can take 15-20 mpg would be helpful, as well as another ball-handler as well.

North Carolina Tar Heels – Shooting guard, wing

The Tar Heels have lost a number of players this offseason, including three starters and several bench players. The departures of Caleb Love and Leaky Black are losses that they need to address. Adding Brown transfer Paxson Wojcik helps the backcourt depth, while Louisville transfer Jae’lyn Withers is a combo forward option.

There’s still plenty for UNC to add, primarily at shooting guard next to RJ Davis. They’ve been rumored to land Harrison Ingram, who’d be ideal to plug into the starting lineup. If that doesn’t work out, look for the team to go back to the drawing board.
