Duke Blue Devils – Center

The Blue Devils have brought back more talent than maybe expected so far this offseason, including Tyrese Proctor and Kyle Filipowski. One of the departures was former five-star prospect Dereck Lively, who was the starting center once fully healthy.

Duke has Christian Reeves and Ryan Young as current options at the center position but for a team that could be the preseason No. 1 team in college basketball next year, they could use an upgrade there. That’s the one area where they could add another piece if they so choose this offseason.

Clemson Tigers – Power forward

The Tigers have lost a couple of players this offseason. One was guard Brevin Galloway, but the team has already replaced him with Air Force transfer Jake Heidbreder, a sharpshooter that can be plugged into the lineup. But the other departure was Hunter Tyson, who led the team in both scoring and rebounding.

PJ Hall is back at center and Clemson could use some more frontcourt depth around him. And with Ben Middlebrooks having transferred out as well, look for the team to go out there and find a capable starter to pair with Hall.
