A case can be made that Alabama Basketball was the best team in all of college hoops this past season. They finished with 31 total wins and won the SEC regular-season and conference tournament titles. The Tide was led by star freshman Brandon Miller, who despite the awful shooting night against San Diego State in the Sweet 16, still has an elite year with the team.

As expected though, Miller is gone to the NBA Draft, where he’s currently a projected top-3 pick. He’s one of a number of roster departures so far. Noah Clowney is also off as a projected first-round pick, while Noah Gurley ran out of eligibility.

But there were several transfer moves with the Tide, as Nimari Burnett, Jaden Bradley, Jaden Quinerly, and Adam Cotrell have entered the portal. The big loss is Bradley, a former five-star prospect that did have an impact as a freshman. But Coach Nate Oats will never be without talent, always as a primed destination spot for transfers.

The team already landed one in Jaykwon Walton, 6’7 wing transfer from Wichita State. He led them in scoring with 13.9 ppg and shot 40% from three-point range. But with Alabama being his third D-I basketball team, Walton may have to sit out the next season if he doesn’t graduate from Wichita State.

So just in case, expect the Crimson Tide to continue looking for more transfers to round out the roster in the next month. And there are three clear targets they’re reportedly after, along with one more that just came into the picture. He’s a look at who they are and the chances Alabama Basketball has to get them.
