24. Jamir Watkins – VCU to Florida State

2022-23 season stats: 9.5 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 1.5 apg

The 6’7 forward started 17 games this past season for the Rams and is known for his defense. Watkins is a capable offensive threat as well, including a 22-point effort against Northern Illinois and 13 points and eight rebounds to beat Dayton in the A-10 title game. He joins an FSU frontcourt that was depleted of depth this past season and should nicely fit into its rotation.

23. Trey Tennyson – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to TCU

2022-23 season stats: 15.7 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 1.2 apg

Tennyson was the leading scorer of the Southland champions, shooting 40% from three-point range on over seven attempts a game. The 6’4 senior guard had eight games with at least 20 points, including 27 against Nicholls State and 20 in the NCAA Tournament loss to Alabama. He joins another transfer Jameer Nelson Jr. in the backcourt and adds another scoring option to replace the likes of Mike Miles and Damion Baugh.

22. Justin Harmon – Utah Valley to Illinois

2022-23 season stats: 14.0 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.9 apg

The 6’4 guard was a double-digit scorer for the Wolverines in the past two seasons, leading them in scoring this time around. Harmon had 13 games of at least 17 points, including a 32-point effort against New Mexico in the NIT. He joins an Illini backcourt that’s without Terrence Shannon Jr. and Jayden Epps and will need someone like Harmon with plenty of experience and can create offense for himself and others.
