2. Aaron Estrada – Hofstra

Estrada began his college career with one-year stops at Saint Peter’s and Oregon before transferring to Hofstra, where he was the CAA Player of the Year the last two seasons. Over those two seasons, he averaged 19.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists on 57.4% true shooting, an excellent number for a high-volume shooter.

The 6-foot-4 point guard posted a usage rating of 29.3 last year, which is one of the highest of all remaining players in the portal. Estrada is used to being a primary ball handler asked to carry a heavy responsibility as both a scorer and playmaker.

Perhaps most importantly, Estrada put up winning numbers, leading Hofstra to a share of the CAA regular-season title last season.

On April 10, Estrada cut his list to four schools: Alabama, Cincinnati, Florida State, and Kansas State. He’s already visited Cincinnati and plans to visit the other three in the coming weeks, per On3.

Estrada has one year of eligibility remaining.
