6. Tylor Perry – North Texas

Perry is a lights-out shooter with seemingly unlimited range, hitting more than three 3s a game at a 41.3% clip. He averaged 17.3 points on a North Texas team that played at the slowest tempo in the nation, earning him Conference USA Player of the Year honors. That number jumps into the 20s when adjusting for pace.

In his two years in Denton, Texas, the Mean Green went 32-6 in Conference USA play, winning the outright regular-season title in 2022. Again, winning numbers. That matters. A lot of guys can score 15+ on bad teams. Very few can do it on a slow-paced team that won 56 games in two years, which is exactly what Perry did at UNT.

He’s excellent off the dribble, has a lethal pull-up jumper from 15 to 28 feet, and is a dangerous playmaker out of high ball screens.

Although he clocks in at 5-foot-11, Perry ranks in the top 10 among remaining mid-major transfers in adjusted defensive rating, per Torvik.

Perry has visited with Arkansas, Florida, and Ole Miss, and has scheduled a visit with Alabama. He has also listed Baylor, Louisville, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech as potential destinations for his final season of eligibility.
