NCAA Basketball: Top 10 available mid-major transfers this 2023 offseason
5. Graham Ike – Wyoming
Ike missed the 2022-23 season with a right leg injury but averaged 19.5 points and 9.6 rebounds the season prior, earning All-Mountain West honors.
With Ike on the court in 2021-22, Wyoming went 25-9 and made the NCAA Tournament. Without Ike (but with an otherwise quite similar roster), Wyoming went 9-22 and finished last in the Mountain West.
The 6-foot-9 power forward can finish with either hand and thrives in low-post isolation situations. He welcomes physicality in the post and on the glass, ranking in the top three of the Mountain West in both offensive and defensive rebounding percentages, per KenPom. He also ranked fourth in the nation in usage rating (35.3), showcasing his ability to draw in opposing defenses as the interior focal point of an offense. When double-teamed, he’s a terrific passer.
Ike recently postponed a visit to Providence and has also been linked to Gonzaga, among others. His recruitment has been fairly quiet, but the full list of schools that Ike had heard from as of March 23 included Arkansas, Arizona, Arizona State, Butler, Colorado, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Missouri, San Diego State, Seton Hall, Tennessee, Xavier, Washington State, and West Virginia, per 247Sports.
Ike has three years of eligibility remaining, making him an intriguing long(er)-term target for high-major programs.
