There are a number of starters on power conference teams that have entered the NCAA Basketball transfer portal. One of them is Hakim Hart, who was a four-year player with the Maryland Terrapins.

Hart, who is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a 6’6 guard/wing that can play and defend multiple positions. After limited minutes as a freshman, the guard started 19 games as a sophomore, before becoming a full-time starter in the past two years.

This past season, Hart averaged 11.4 ppg, 4.1 rpg, and 2.6 apg, all of which were career-high numbers. He shot 48% from the field and 33% from three-point range. On a team that was fairly balanced on offense among the starters, the senior had his fair share of moments. That includes 22 points and eight rebounds against Coppin State, 23 points, five rebounds, and five assists against Penn State, and 22 points, six assists, and four steals versus Minnesota.

At the end of the season, Hart elected to leave the transfer portal with his extra year of eligibility. His recruitment for the past couple of weeks has been quiet but now, things are finally moving around and it seems that a decision could be pending.

While Hart has also entered the NBA Draft process, there’s a high likelihood that he comes back to NCAA Basketball for one more season. But where will he end up at? Here’s a look at which of the four teams is the best potential fit for him.
