2. Miami Hurricanes

Miami finally got a decision from ACC Player of the Year Isaiah Wong, with him opting to go pro and leave NCAA Basketball. That still leaves a good pair of backcourt players in Nijel Pack and Wooga Poplar but now there’s room on the perimeter for someone like Hart to join and have a sizeable role.

And assuming that he’s the top target for the program, Hart could have a nice payday via NIL, while also having minutes on a preseason top-15 team for next season. And if he wants to continue having the ball in his hands, the former Terrapin could be on-ball more than he’d be at the other options.

1. Villanova Wildcats

As a native of Philly, Villanova automatically stands out as an option for him. And after what was a down year by their standards, the Wildcats are already making a splash in the portal. They landed 16 ppg scoring transfer TJ Bamba from Washington State while retaining guard Justin Moore for one more year.

Hart’s versatility can make any potential lineup work, as he’s another playmaker on the perimeter. He’s big enough to play at the four-spot if they want to start Mark Armstrong or can be a quasi-point next to Moore in larger lineups. If going home matters enough and the playing time is there, the Wildcats simply make the most sense for Hart.
