The NCAA Basketball transfer portal is starting to have more players leave it than entering it from a talent standpoint. However, there still is plenty of talent in the portal available for teams to get. The frontcourt has always been a key place for teams to find proven production, especially when size is involved.

Looking at true centers and power forwards that only plays the 4/5 spots on the court, here’s a look at the top available frontcourt players in the transfer portal that can have the most impact at their next stop. And there are some more honorable mentions as well.

Honorable Mention: Kenny Pohto – Wichita State Shockers

The sophomore big man was the starter at Wichita State this past season, averaging 8.7 ppg and 5.7 rpg. The 6’11 center had a pair of double-doubles, including 21 points and 11 rebounds against East Carolina. He’s a capable starting big man at the power conference level yet isn’t an elite scorer but if he opts to transfer down, Pohto could be a big-time contributor.

HM: Jalen Deloach – VCU Rams

The sophomore big man had a breakout campaign as a starter, averaging 9.7 ppg and 6.9 rpg. He’s one of the better frontcourt defenders in the portal as well, including a number of games with multiple shots blocked. Deloach had a 13-point and 14-rebound game against La Salle as statistically his best performance. He recently had a top-6 list but announced that his recruitment was wide open.

HM: Sydney Curry – Louisville Cardinals

The 6’8 center started 37 games in the past two seasons for the Cardinals, averaging 4.9 ppg and 4.3 rpg. He’s been part of the large frontcourt rotation at Louisville that didn’t work out for anyone. Curry is a veteran big man that can defend at the power conference level and while not likely a starter isn’t a bad get for teams lacking depth.
