There aren’t many players that can claim that they’re postseason NCAA Basketball champions. One of them is Tylor Perry, who was the star and leading scorer of the North Texas Mean Green, who won the NIT championship.

Perry, who averaged 17.3 ppg to lead the team in scoring this past season, dropped at least 20 points in four of the five games of the NIT title run. That includes 20 points and five steals in the championship game victory over UAB, including multiple key baskets down the stretch.

That’s been who Terry has been the last two seasons at North Texas. Despite playing at one of the slowest paces in the country, he’s been a consistent quality scorer on offense. This past season, the 5’11 guard went for 20+ points 14 different times, including a career-high 35 points while making all seven three-point attempts in a win over San Jose State.

In a transfer portal filled with talented guards, Perry is one of the best playmaking guards out there. He received plenty of interest once he hit the portal and now, there’s a list of four teams out for his services.

All four NCAA Basketball programs could use Perry, even if a couple has already landed a guard or two this offseason. His decision will have a sizeable impact on whichever team he picks, while the losers will be in trouble.

Here’s how I would rank each of the final four options for Perry in terms of best potential fit.
