2. Florida Gators

The Gators have landed four transfers already this offseason, with three coming via the frontcourt. The one lone true backcourt commit is Walter Clayton, who averaged 16.8 ppg and 3.2 apg as the MAAC Player of the Year at Iona.

He’s a combo guard and so is Perry, which makes them a legit backcourt pair to work with for Florida. Coach Todd Golden has allowed his guards to be creative shot-makers so stylistically, this makes a lot of sense as well. He can get plenty of minutes at the SEC level and would be the focal point of the offense.

1. Kansas State Wildcats

I mentioned about how Perry needs to go to a place where the coach is willing to let him be the guy. And the program and head coach with the best reputation is Jerome Tang and Kansas State, who allowed Markquis Nowell to become an All-American running the offense. He’s gone, along with Desi Sills in the backcourt.

The Wildcats are reportedly linked with Max Abmas of Oral Roberts and Aaron Estrada of Hofstra. Yet Perry could be the best fit of the group, as a veteran two-way player that can compete in the Big 12 and pair with anyone that joins him. He’d have a huge role with this option and get to see his full offensive potential on display.
