Each year in the NCAA Basketball transfer portal, there’s always one player whose recruitment stands out from the rest. So far this season, it’s clearly all about Hunter Dickinson, the most well-known and talented individual.

The former top-40 prospect out of high school was an instant impact player for the Michigan Wolverines. He averaged 14.1 ppg and 7.4 rpg as a freshman in 26 mpg. Dickinson made the Sweet 16 that season, along with the next year as a sophomore, posting 18.6 ppg and 8.6 rpg.

After an All-American campaign, Dickinson had another big season as a junior, averaging 18.5 ppg and 9.0 rpg. However, the team didn’t do as well, as the Wolverines missed out on the NCAA Tournament. As a result, the roster has gone through several changes but the most unexpected one was Dickinson entering the transfer portal.

Immediately, there were a couple of programs that became instant contenders for his services in Maryland and Georgetown. Yet now, three other teams are reportedly in the mix; the Kansas Jayhawks, Kentucky Wildcats, and now Villanova Wildcats. Dickinson is taking an official visit with the Big 12 program, before going to Kentucky for this weekend.

Considering that there’s also a greater than 0% chance that Dickinson returns back to Michigan, that leaves six NCAA Basketball programs in the mix for the All-Big Ten big man. Each of them has its own selling points to him but which makes the most sense? Here’s a look at how he’d fit with each of them.
