The Tigers were thought to have found a wing this past week, potentially reuniting with Arizona State transfer, Devan Cambridge. He ended up committing to Oregon but the SEC program could get someone even better with Cleveland.

The wing position is one that’s in flux for Auburn right now. The starter for this past season, Allen Flanigan, hasn’t indicated whether or now he’ll be back for a 5th year. Chris Moore started some games at the three-spot but Cleveland would be a nice upgrade.

The team has already landed a pair of transfers this offseason. One is Denver Jones, a 6’4 guard that averaged 20 ppg at Florida International, while Chaney Johnson is a 6’7 wing from the D-II ranks. He’s not proven at the SEC level though so adding Cleveland would be a more comfortable option.

With bigs Johni Broome and Jaylin Williams both in the NBA Draft process, there are some questions as to how the roster will work out. If one does leave, Cleveland could also simply play some at the four-spot since he got good experience doing that at Florida State.
