Ques Glover – Samford Bulldogs

2022-23 season stats: 14.7 ppg and 2.1 apg

Glover played 19 games this past season but the year prior when he was fully healthy, averaged a team-leading 19.2 ppg and 4.4 apg. But the 5’11 guard did shoot a career-high 38% from three-point range and became a better all-around scorer.

He has one year left of eligibility and originally started at Florida, where he played two seasons of limited minutes off the bench. He broke out in the SoCon but will Glover be good enough to play at the ACC level? He was linked to Memphis, Georgetown, and Tennessee earlier in the offseason but nothing came of it. The Cardinals could be a good option as a backup to Clark.

Ahron Ulis – Iowa Hawkeyes

2022-23 season stats: 6.1 ppg and 2.1 apg

The 6’3 guard started 27 games for the Hawkeyes this past season, shooting 40% from the field and 32% from three-point range. Ulis, who comes from the Chicago area, had moments where he showed he can be a dynamic scorer in Big Ten play. He went for 17 points on 8/10 shooting against Michigan State, along with 16 the following game versus Rutgers.

Ulis was on a team with multiple big scorers such as Kris Murray so there’s a chance that on another team with a bigger role, he’ll have more double-digit scoring games. He also can just be a solid rotation player on a power conference team either as a starter or off the bench.
