Mike Meadows – Portland Pilots

2022-23 season stats: 11.0 ppg and 2.2 apg

Injuries have plagued the 6’2 guard during his four years at both Portland and Eastern Washington but when he’s on the court, Meadows is a quality double-digit scorer that can go off. This past season, the veteran ball-handler went for 29 points against LMU and a career-high 39 versus Santa Clara.

Meadows had originally committed to fellow WCC program LMU this offseason before opening his recruitment back up again. He’s from the Los Angeles area so he may ultimately stay out west. But he’s one of the top backup guard options that’s capable of going off and that would be perfect for Louisville since the roster may have some scoring concerns among its bench right now.

Isa Silva – Stanford Cardinal

2022-23 season stats: 3.2 ppg and 1.2 apg

The former top-50 prospect never got things going at Stanford, averaging just 13 mpg off the bench in his first two seasons. But Silva came into college with a reputation for being an elite passer and there weren’t too many scorers to pass the ball to over there.

If Louisville is interested in taking a flyer out on a power conference talent, Silva has two years left and won’t be looking for 30 mpg. He’d be a good option to play behind Clark and a change of scenery and more talented players could be what helps unlock his potential.
