44. Freddy Hicks – Tarleton State to Arkansas State

2022-23 season stats: 16.2 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 2.3 apg

The 6’6 forward started out his career as the WAC Rookie of the Year and has developed into an all-league player and leading scorer. Hicks had a pair of 30-point games this past season against Drake and Radford, along with five other 20-point performances. He joins new head coach Bryan Hodgson and a roster filled with other impact transfers. Right now, he’s the most accomplished of the group.

43. Zach Hicks – Temple to Penn State

2022-23 season stats: 9.6 ppg and 5.1 apg

The 6’7 forward started 32 games this past season, producing a pair of double-doubles and scoring 20 points against Vanderbilt in the non-con. Hicks is an athletic and versatile wing with offensive potential and joins a new Penn State roster that has lots of defensive players but could use someone like Hicks to break out and be a leading offensive force.

42. Jordan Gainey – South Carolina Upstate to Tennessee

2022-23 season stats: 15.2 ppg and 2.3 apg

The 6’4 shooting guard is a multiple-time All-Big South scorer, leading the Spartans in scoring this past season. Gainey had eight games of at least 20 points, including 25 points, five assists, and five steals against South Carolina State. He joins a Tennessee program that has had offensive issues in the past and has two years of eligibility left.
